Why wasn’t I enough for you?

I loved our life. I know you did too.

I stayed longer than I should have.

I stood with you.  

You destroyed the life we built together.

You changed the trajectory of my life.

Why did you leave me?

 Your addiction was not my fault.

What did I do wrong?

There is nothing I could have done differently.

You changed our life without acknowledgement.

You were drowning.

You never said you were sorry.

You were ashamed and afraid.

You didn’t say goodbye.
